Welcome! As a Gerontologist, I keep up with the latest breakthroughs and the best scientific research on aging, and use that information to guide women 55+ to be the healthiest they can be. Gerontology is the only scientific discipline which combines the study of the body, mind, and spirit. I believe in life-enhancing improvements without drugs. I focus on proven practices, with the goal being to help slow down the impact of aging on our bodies and our brains- both the physical brain and its cognitive functions.
Even if life’s demands in the past left you little time for yourself, on this website, through my blog, and through other opportunities, I offer practical wisdom on how to start taking greater care of yourself now, sharpen your mind, invigorate your body, renew your spirit, and have some fun doing all of it. Distilled from the most promising research available, I discuss physical and mental exercises, which actually improve and build brain power, cognition, and memory. I explore the latest findings, including supplements that can help reduce your risk of dementia and Alzheimer’s. I offer specific examples of what we can eat and drink that will move our bodies to a higher level of health. I help women see the glass as more than half-full every day. I will endeavor to bring up topics many of us have not yet considered, or were afraid ask about.
It is never too late to begin, and the results can be astounding. Our bodies have the miraculous capacity for regeneration and a powerful desire for health.
